My '04 Grand Cherokee has been hitting 2500 RPM's at start and sometimes holding this for a full minute - of course the day I leave at the shop they say it won't do it, but now is doing again every day - worse when it's been sitting awhile.
Any suggestions? Not only wasting gas, but always in a hurry and hate waiting a minute to be able to drop in gear.
Where is the TPS located? Anyone have a picture to help?
Vehicle continues to surge in RPM's for 10-15 seconds at start - hope to knock this out...
Thanks again!
Mine is in the shop again for this there is a TSB, but they were not able to reproduce it, I asked the tech to drive it home!! It s starting to tick me off!!!
Orvisman - any update on your situation...did you ever get this fully resolved?
Mine continues to do the surging of RPM's for up to 30 seconds sometimes when I start - before I purchase IAC or TPS just curious if you had any luck.
