02 Gc With Rough Idle, 4.0 Rough...

I Have A 02 Gc 4.0, Straight 6, That Idles Very Rough, I Just Ran A Scan Tool And The Rpms Are In Range But The Idle Is Still Rough 95k On The Gc. Someone Suggested A Carbon Drip, Any Of You Guys Have Had The Same Problems Or Any Ideas? Truck Runs Great Just At Idle It Is Rough When In Drive.. Thanks

How is the vacuum? Check for cracked or broken vacuum hoses.

It must have not been a dumb response because it's been two months and he did not have to ask any more questions. If his answer is already on the board, why discuss it again?

Just for S and Gs, I searched on the term "rough idle". More that one hundred hits.

I try to help people but I don't like wasting time and keystrokes answering the same question over and over again.

So DRE97, yours was a dumb response. The search function is just above the dialog box the man asked his question in.
