Jesus & Jeeps
This guy is living up to his self-proclaimed name of a Bandit
I bought a transmission from the Jeep that he is parting out that was allegedly recently rebuilt(after a month he still hasn't been able to send me a receipt???). Upon receiving it and taking to the transmission shop to have it installed, they told me it had water contamination(water mixed in the oil). After explaining to them that problems the Bandit stated in post #33 (Below), The shop felt that could very well explain how water/coolant got into the coolant lines on the trans.
"When my trans went out the shop that replaced it did not reinstall the clips that hold the harness up. As I live in Colorado I was headed up one of the passes and the jeep started surging and I pulled over found the melted harness and had a O2 sensor code started down in elevation and ran good again as I was headed home (planing on replacing the harness when I got there ) same thing surging and then jeep quit running. Ok best I can figure is melted harness + up and down in elevations = plugged cats = high cylinder pressure blowen head gaskets and cracked piston rings.....
Upon trying to talk and reason with this Bandit, he instantly got defensive and tried making every excuse in the book on how it's my fault or that I must have installed it wrong or something. I explained that it is at the shop, it has not been installed or used in any way, in fact I would gladly have them contact him to explain the details. I even sent him pics that the shop took of the fluid. Later he admitted to pressure washing it and maybe that's how water got in there??.
Long story short, I was told I was buying a recently rebuilt, ready to install tranny with less than 300 miles for $1000 cash, and what I received was a water saturated trans that the shop will not install without disassembling to address the problems. After going back and forth trying to work this out with him, he started to ignore me. Then later in the evening, he threatens me with filing a police report and having his attorney contact me, Which I welcomed. Bring it!! Still haven't heard from his so called attorney, maybe he's trying to hide also??
Whether it was a problem w/ the jeep or his pressure washing it, he needs to Man up and take responsibility and refund my money!!
Will (Mr. Bandit), If you're reading this, Do the right thing and refund my money quickly because I assure you, trying to ignore my phone calls and hiding is NOT going to make this problem you created go away and I will NOT forget about the $1000 you are trying to screw me out of. In Fact it's going to cost you a whole lot more, I have a brother-in-law and aunt that work in the sheriffs dept. and a sister that works in attorney's office so this won't be going away until you make things right, not to mention you have already sold out your morals and character.
I'll gladly remove this post or set the record straight if you want to MAN UP and refund my money, If not you better have your attorney get a hold of me ASAP!!!!
