dana 35 and ford 8.8 for sale
$200.00
Two axles for sale:

Dana 35 with 4.10 gears out of a 90 YJ

Ford 8.8 with 3.73, limited slip, and disc brakes out of a 96 Explorer. I've already cut off the spring perches and sway bar mounts and ground down the weld beads (and let me tell you that was a job), but ended getting a different axle for my Jeep.

Asking 200 for each. Local pickup only, located between Hilton Head Island, SC and Savannah, GA

Text or call Clint at 979 two two zero 70 four 5 for pics or info

I'm in Savannah, GA and would love to get info for the 35 with the 4.10. Will the YJ one fit a TJ? Silly question, but since you have the 8.8, was the 35 rear or was it getting prepped as front with the 8.8 rear?

Also, the 8.8 ... Will that one also fit? Were you prepping it for TJ? I think i'd still want the 35 though, I could also change my 30

The 35 is set up for a YJ, so I'm sure some modifications would be required to fit under a TJ (spring mounts, etc), but I believe it would work. There's probably some threads on it. The spring perches on the 8.8 tubes are completely cut down, so it's ready to be set up for either model, just needs the right mounts welded on. The only caveat on the 8.8 is that a fellow Marine emailed me from afghanistan saying he wanted it. He gets home next week, and I told him I'd hold it until then for him. After that, if he doesn't get it, it's back on the market. Feel free to text me anytime, and come by to take a look if you'd like.

In all honesty though, as much as I'd love to sell you the 35, the work that would be required to make it fit a TJ is probably not much less than what it would take for you to find a 4.10 8.8 and put that in, and you'd be getting a far superior axle.
