Here in my area you see a Wrangler every other block.
So when we are driving down the road, the kids started this game. When they see a Wrangler, they yell "Jeep!" That way they try to accumulate as many Jeeps as they can before we get to our destination. Breaks the boredom of the road.
But today my six year old son saw a lifted Wrangler and yelled "Jeep!",
and my ten year old daughter said "It has round headlights so it doesn't count"!
I laughed my badoodie off. Daddy's girl for sure!
THAT is when you know you drive a YJ!

Betcha' wish your girlfriend was as dirty as my Jeep!
Zombies hate fast food.
Hang on! This is gunna' be a thrill ride of geriatric proportion!

you think to your self "well at least the one good thing about these torx bolts is no one can steal what ever they are holding down"... and fail to remember you have enough tools in the back to take anything off.

We do the same thing, but with a twist. You have all played the slug bug game when you see a Volkswagon Beetle. We do the "Jeep Fleep™" and flip the person. The wife is not a fan.

Took the Trac-Bar off of the front finally. No noticeable driving quirks.

I have often looked at other YJs on the street, including my own, and thought to myself that I bet I could have the top and doors off in under 3 minutes and no one would ever know who did it....

Not that I ever would, but it makes me realise just how unsecure they are if you really know what you're doing with Jeeps.

....despite being very bored, you can only make it to page 5 of the "You know you drive a JK when...." thread. Because after reading the following entry (copied/pasted) you are near nausea from laughter.....

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I put in rubber slush mats for the front and they are too heavy to blow out. For $40 bucks at the dealer, it was one of the best modifications I've made..

I don't know if it was "rubber slush mats," "$40 bucks at the dealer," or "one of the best modifications I've made..." that set off the laughing spell
(it may have been the mention of the words 2WD and Jeep in the same sentence from other entries....)

I was out "shopping" for a new hard top with the kids and wife the other day. They were all "you can't just take one off another Jeep"
and I was like "I can too. I know how they are put on."

I am still getting "The Look™" from my wife.
