YKYDAYJ when your otherwise strong running 4.2L drinks oil at an alarming rate, fouls only one spark plug(#4) into a ball of carbon, and blows no visible smoke on startup, acceleration, or deceleration.

not mine... Well it was strong.. Then guzzled oil and now it's finished

When you live in the UAE and not a single JY has a used gas tank to replaced your leaking one. Been searching for 3 weeks and no luck. this is CRAP!!!

Take it out. Let it dry. Air out. Find the leak with a little gas. Then clean the area and weld it up. That's what I would do if there wasn't one anywhere near me and I could t afford to buy one or didn't want to buy a new one.

It can't be welded, it's a poly tank and the crack is about 6 inches long! I was thinking to use some Bondo fibreglass patching sets or some form of epoxy to seal it up but I'm not sure I trust that to hold.

on that long of a crack I would only attempt anything if it was on the top of tank. looks like you gotta pay international shipping on one or get a fuel cell
