Yes I know exactly where that is , My biggest issue is with the Altamont heading west !! I max out at about 45 mph at 2600 rpm

ykydayjw...
you own less than 25% of the jeep you bought 5 years ago.

only thing remaining of the jeep i bought almost 5 years ago is as follows...
hood, seats, soft upper part of the dash, grille, lower doors, soft top, and a small portion of the wiring harness.

Ratmonkey donation page. all proceeds will go to his family.

so true!!!

YJ's follow the old adage of the axe: "A good Axe lasts 5 handles and 2 heads..."

a GOOD YJ lasts... 2 tubs... 2 frames.... etc..etc...

YKYDAYJW you grossly over estimate the turn radius on every other car you drive.

That was a huge problem when I was used to driving my YJ, I drove my buddy's JKR a while back and I started busting out laughing for some odd reason when I made a u-turn.

It just seemed funny to me that we were pivoting instead of turning. I'm used to the turning radius on a vehicle with a wheelbase longer than what most other people drive these days.

So, so, so true!
Nothing turns tighter than a jeep. When I drive the yj too long and then go back to a full size, crew cab pick up, or even just my friends jku, I can't park to save my life!

Put a full width 44 on it and try to turn. You'll be back to a standard turning radius.

On a side note YKYDAYJ when you can pull your tranny by yourself in under an hour. ... AX-15 rebuild in my future

Sent from my phone because I'm doing something "more important"

89 YJ.. My first jeep and I won't let it go. ▀||||▀

Current Project: None... I disgust myself.
