When you are wheeling and take harder lines in a stock Yj on 30's then the guy driving the brand new JKU rubicon on 37's and crawling past him as he says its a rough trail and you won't make it cause he is struggling. Lmao.

You know you drive a YJ when it's raining and your the only jeep with no top or doors driving around with a smile.

When it rains pretty good, like today, your glad you have garbage bags.
My buddy who's the one that played that harsh joke on me had a yj with the 4.0 5sp on 33s. He had the d35 locked and drove it like he stole it and the 35 rear never broke. He sold it a yr ago to a good friend of his that offroads in the hills and commutes on a 150 round trip everyday to school no problem. Funny thing he told me yesterday the kid told him the tough as nails 4.0 blew a head gasket and their rebuilding the engine. Idk if it was a stock d35 shafts with locker or a super35. We never cracked the diff cover to look. It has 4.10 gears according to the diff tag though

I was with my son.. had to take the higher road. I did use it as a teachable moment and discussed gratitude with my 11 yr old.
