I have a mesh top, but I couldn't take the top off last year, and I can't again this year. Unfortunately my top is shrunk to the point that the zippers are destroyed and I would never be able to get the top back on.

You live in California yes? You don't need a top anywhere south of Ventura County!

I know. I grew up in Ventura County. Now I'm on the opposite side of the state.

When you stop to help a tj owner put his top back on in the rain and you finish a whole side and the back window in before he finishes his side and he says, " how'd you do that so fast?" And all you can say is "I own a yj"

...then you drive off with no top

Haha... my paint is still too nice for me to do it. I need to touch up a bunch of spots with nail polish or something, I just don't know how to match the colour. I paint all the parts I put on it with a rattle can though.

When the smell of the "rattle can" paint is your new car smell.

Took the carpet out, hosed it down and rattle canned some spots this weekend.

When you have to strategically place items within your Jeep when it rains in order to avoid the multiple leaks.

or

When after 2 years of driving it and working on it, you still frequently find yourself saying "Hm? Thats a new and odd noise/leak/etc."

This happens to me everyday while driving my work van.

Treat every situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it pee on it and walk away.

Took my 14 yr daughter for a little ride this afternoon in the snow and she asked " what is that falling inside ?" I told her it looks like snow to me. The look on her face: priceless. I told her its a JEEP !

If it's not broke- modify it, so it won't break

I drive a xj as my dd. it's a jeep so I don't miss driving my yj. The problem is I already pricing a 3" lift and 32" tires for my xj and will lift it hopefully during the summer.
