Agreed.

When you toss and turn at night thinking about what suspension, locker, tires, gears, ect you want to get once you start your build.

When you see this at the junkyard and realize a YJ could double as a goal post....it's Good!

Even if I won a JK I wouldn't drive it. I would sell and buy 3 YJ's and upgrade all three and still have change left over. Why anyone buys a 30000 dollar jeep to dump even more money into it is beyond me.

You get more wind noise when the top and doors are on.

Exactly that I would do, cept I would buy two YJs (already have one), and put aside money for a custom workshop just to work on those bad boys. Talkin' full air tool system, full hydro-lifts, massive ventilation (heating and cooling applied), and most importantly, a bathroom, fridge and grill.

When you know your right foot is gonna be wet and the left foot will be dry. Would be better if it was the other way around, you don't have to keep your foot on the clutch!

I think it's the same even with a hard top and full doors.

I have been looking for a renegade for a couple of years now. I have an 87 YJ want to replace it with a Renegade and make my 87 a trailered beast. That pic made me sad.

Sorry to make you sad Doc. That was a 4.2L Automatic and it had all the trimmings, AC, soundbar, rear wiper... but the frame & floorboards would need to be replaced; everything underneath the jeep is wicked rottted
