thought of this one when I heard this song on the way to work...

When you think the song Flexin' has something to do with how much clearance your Jeep has...

YJ fever.

I just arrived in Paris (for work) and took a stroll around my hotel and found a white YJ parked on the street. Had to go check it out and take some pictures

CRAP! Did I miss that? I was gonna go, been out of town though.

You know you drive a YJ when you come home all excited and the first thing you do is pull out a calculator and your converter sheet to figure out how fast you got up to on the way back from Maryland. 83mph down a hill, with NO TOP!!

It was this past Saturday. They had some nice raffles (of which I failed to win of course) and some good deals but personally I like JD swap meets and jeep fest better. This was more like a thousand vendors showing off new stuff.
Quadratic is literally right there on the way to work though so I can just pick up stuff instead of shipping though.

you need to put the pushmower away in the garage, but the yj is in the way so you just push it under it under the back of the yj and shut the garage door.

You average 16.5 mpg on a road trip and celebrate

# of truckers passing that have passed you > # of truckers you have passed

You think of the “little engine that could” when approaching every hill

Perfect timing is required to turn off the wipers so they “park” at the right spot on the windshield

You get compliments on your Jeep even though its beat up and rusty

Me: He doesn't know about the YJ magic.

I'm thinking:
1. You don't carburetor.
2. My engine is bigger.
3. My engine sounds like a diesel.
4. Upon start up you don't have a small black cloud shoot out the exhaust.
5. You don't take yours off road.
6. You have a smooth ride.
7. For some reason my stock 89 rides higher than your TJ.
8. Your in a TJ Sport.
9. When all clean my YJ looks so much better than your TJ.
10. Do you even know what a TJ is?

11. The guy in the west bound turn lane WAVED at ME because he did not see you.
Saw the TJ kid at lunch today..... He still hates my YJ..... He still doesn't have a clue about the magic.
