When you can spot another YJ from about a mile off at any angle.

When you've donated more blood to your jeep than the red cross.

I have to agree with the carring of a tool box comes in handy in a YJ, I also carry a spare fuel pump, filter, some VAC hoses, and plugs....used to keep a spare 4x4 actuator on hand but posi lok fised that...
ihear you mines the same but i dont get into that cold of weather but i ride with the window half zipped to smoke and i think everyone else just needs to fix there heater or change a thermostat

When someone pulls up to your passenger side and motions for you to roll down your window....

Sure, just let me unbuckle, lean over and unzip the window.

You know you drive a YJ when.....

.....your rig stalls going around a left hand turn, but kicks back up when you level out again. It's OK tho don't worry, that's just means I need to get gas.

Then you go to fill up and it only takes 10 gallons.

When someone says something is mechanically wrong with your jeep, and you just say "if it wasn't a yj id be worried!"

I LOVE this "feature" of my Jeep. My gas gage broke two or three years ago, but who needs it! She will tell me when I need gas.

when you draft behind a big rig so you can achieve the speed limit

I did it yesterday, was able to cruise at 70MPH for an hour behind a flatbed which was the same hight as my hood. I was turning over 3K in 5th gear and barely giving it gas, too bad that truck wasn't in front of me on the way back, 60 MPH with the peddle mashed to the floor.

Wave as you pass me :D

The problems of owning 2 Jeeps ... I never know which one to work on or which YJ gets the next mod ...
