when your bestfriend's initals are P.B. or W.D.
when you have given your YJ as many scars as it has given you.
when you can repaint it for < $20 bucks worth of rattle cans. ( and keep a extra can in the back for touch ups )
when you get crazy looks from people at the carwash while you pressure wash your interior.
when all those $10 parts are draining your bank account.
when you use spray on bedliner instead of buying new carpet.

and ive only owned a jeep for 3 1/2 days.

when you really fail to understand what purpose a spare tire cover serves...

when you wonder why people would buy a center console when the toolbox you have bolted to the floor in the back works just fine.

when you secure the falling window seal thingy with clear duct-tape to keep it on the jeep until you have time to fix it

when you use said duck-tape to plug the drain holes on the floor so you don't get poisoned by the exaust gas that escape from anywhere along the exaust line, except the rear end.....

THEY MAKE CLEAR DUCT TAPE?!?!?!? you know you drive a YJ when you get too excited by learning that.

you also know you drive a YJ when you keep a rubber mallet to hammer in the window seals on the hardtop.

you know you drive a YJ when....the rod to open the door quit working, you fix it, and the week after it breaks again. You have to lower the window to get out of the jeep, and when you lower the window, somehow the doors open !!!!!

And no, you cannot make window with clear ducttape....

You know you drive a YJ when after owning it for less than a year, you are trying to find a career that complements working on it and building it up...

When your fiance asks you to visit her preschool class on your day off b/c the little boys in her class like your "monster truck". happened just last week.

or when big rigs pass you b/c it takes you 2 miles to get up to freeway speed.

or when your fiance calls you from home when your at work to complain that you have a 6"s of mud sitting in the garage floor under the jeep and Jr. was playing in it.
