you know you drive a YJ when you can't find anything at night because you don't have a dome light

you own an early YJ when the guys at autozone (or napa; or whatever) 1.) know you by name because of you're weekly trips 2.) have you listed in the computer as owning 12 different vehicles because of all hte stuff it takes to make your 258 run like it should....

You don't rely on the gas guage, but your odometer to know (sort of) when to go to for a fill up. But, just in case, you have a full gas can in the back end.

You guys just made my day! It is great to know that I'm not the only one that has had these things happen to him.

1987 Wrangler YJ RED 4.2 5-speed, NP231, BFG 31x10.5R15 AT/KO on 15x8 gambler wheels.
Caution!!! Under construction!!!!!! Caution!!!
Finishing a 4.0 Cyl.head swap, Just got an AX-15 NP231J combo to replace the busted t-case and craptacular BA10/5. Adding Nutter bypass. Probably more to come before it is back as a DD!

You know you drive a YJ when your passenger drain plugs are used to drain coolant more often than water

[QUOTE=hdfxrs91;4779799]You pass a tractor-trailer flatbed loaded with crushed vehicles and wonder if there were any parts you could have used on your Jeep. There had to have been SOMETHING in there...

and then an incline comes up and you realize this your opportunity for a 2nd look!!!

When on your way back from work a strong wind and an icy patch made you do a 360 on the road, when your wife offers you to take the Toyota the next day, but you still choose to take the YJ.....
