When the previous CJ and the below:

is the blueprint for the kid in the picture's bone stock YJ:

I gotta be honest with you guys, I balled like a baby when my sister handed me those 2 pictures of me in Daddy's CJ. I grew up in that Jeep and the sheer pride and joy was too much. I was always taught to love what you got and to take care of it. There's the reason I am and forever will be a Jeep man.

you know you drive a yj when you take 1700lbs of scrap axles, blown up trannys and transfercases, and other random **** you cant even use for making other things to the steel mill, and proceed to fill the tank with the money you got...

when ....
while working on it and one of those small set back things happens during a repair/mod (broken bolt, stripped bolt head, loose nutsert.. the annoying crap) prompts you to sit back a second and give it a stern talking to as to why you are very disappointed in the way it is behaving today.

It might have been said before, but how about when the first snowfall of the season is 20 inches, and you get in your YJ to blast out of the driveway. You throw it into 4WD, and nothing happens because your vacuum disconnect system took a crap again.

Get a Posi Loc vacuum bypass system. I have it and never have to worry about the stupid vacuum.

when you drive your friends 97 toyota corolla thats a 4cylinder and what usually takes you $90 in gas to travel 240miles on your 4banger.takes him 20 bucks!.. and so you keep starring at the gas gauge worried because it barely moved.. pondering if it even works (happened to me today)
