When you get tired of listening to TJ owners try to figure which bikini-duster-wind jammer combination will keep them dry when they take their hard-top off. IF YOUR WORRIED ABOUT STAYING DRY; BUY A CAR!!! bunch of d@$&$d sissies

When I was in So-Cal the only people that would wave were the military personnel. They also happened to be the only people that drove off-road Jeeps without tops/doors/windows on the cold Oxnard coast.
![]() You know you own a YJ when your major vibrations suddenly disappear and you get paranoid knowing something is about to blow up... ![]()

+1! You know you drive one when the young self serve guy circles your Jeep twice before "giving up" and asking where to put the gas. P.S. Caught in my first thunderstorm with the top off yesterday. Didn't know there would be so much "blowback" from the rear! |

you discover that a chicken could have done a better job repairing the door than the PO. Huzzah for coat hangers soldered to speed nuts bolted to handles! Or is that how it came from the factory?

Even my '88 has cupholders (come to think of it, they are in an aftermarket console installed by the PO). They also hold screws, washers, and the spring from when the horn button fell off.

Mine shake so bad, I can't see out of them anyway unless I'm sitting still. I use the windshield mounted mirror to check for cops (you know the minimum speed limit IS 40 on the Interstate), the outside mirrors are strictly ornamental (and to satisfy mirror laws) You know you drive a YJ when you drive it to town with the top off in 100+ heat when you've got a perfectly fine Chevy pickup with A/C sitting at home just because you know the wife and rugrats won't want to come along! Sometimes a man just needs to sweat in peace. |

When the parking brake doesn't work, so its left in gear when you park... and its missing half the body bolts and brackets but its held together by jeep magic
When driving behind a JK owner and it starts to sprinkle and you floor it to push through because you see the sunshine on the other side, and the JK pulls over to put on the top When you learn the hard way about the wave after buying your YJ because someone turned around and caught up with you at a red light and said "You must be new here" ahahahaha |

Its impossible to get a TJ wave here, except for the ones i know, and next to impossible to get a YJ. Most the people in the YJ's dont even look at you. How can you not notice another fellow YJ'er in a city filled with Mercedes BMW H2s ect?
But props to the CJ'ers here, almost all of them wave! |
