when you are pretty sure there is something going wrong, whether it be brakes, steering, exhaust, or even stereo problem but then hit a few more bumps and don't notice it again for months.

.....when driving 50 MPH is considered risking your life.

.....when driving 60 MPH is absolutley unadvisable.

.....when driving 70 MPH keeps you on the lookout for parts flying off.

.....when driving 80 MPH feels like the space shuttle on reentry.

[QUOTE=Phrankoff;9433873]... when you do the Jeep wave and after a 2 or 3 your passenger says, " Who the hell are you waving at ? "

I get that all the time

When you decide to take all of the Torx Bolts that hold the roll bar on OUT one day because you have the "Time" and all but one come out with a little force. That one bolt causes you to get creative.... very creative!

Mr. Lincoln helped me out a little bit.

Turned a torx into a regular bolt

And now...

Only in a YJ

you know you drive a yj when you go to replace a small brake line and end up replacing the line, your brakes, your brake cylinders, and then finally top it off with swapping the diff fluid because you are kinda around there

you know you drive a YJ when you give the jeep wave to a passing jeep, only for your girlfriend to inquire as to why you were waving to the pretty blond in the jeep. Blond, what blond? Nice jeep!

You know you drive a YJ when the average life of a starter is 6-8 months. Going for my 3rd one in less than 16 months.

l We're here for a good time. Not a long time. So have a good time the sun can't shine every day.

when the gas pump is your second home.

when you start skimping on things that don't matter so you can afford more for your YJ...things like...food...health insurance...and you rationalize this behavior by saying "i can totally live off ramen, and i'm gonna die anyways, what do i need health insurance for?"
