You don't need the trac bars, but I would suggest you put the shocks back on. I almost wish I had that problem I can't get my rear track bar off but have the front one off.

Don't know if anyone's said this one before or not but...

You know you drive a YJ when you have to use bungee cords to keep the soft doors open and not flapping in the wind when you're working it.

Or when you have many bungee cords for various purposes in your Jeep. (Never know when you're gonna need them)

you find a bolt with the heel of your boot while actually going 80mph and think simultaniously (its falling apart around me, what did that come from, do the breaks still work, and is this a good thing or a bad thing?)

when a coworker gives you crap for driving like a bat out of hell and your responce is "i like running before the wind"

when you start thinking about setting up flags at regular intervals on your daily (rural) commute, and a wind sock in your front yard.

when the difference between 32 degrees and 0 is people in the next lane thinking you are having a seizure.

when you dont even care where you park anymore

when you can see the oil stains on dirt

when you use the back seat at a couch for bonfires (little known fact, the material that the jeep rear seat is made out of was also used to coat the outside of the apollo capsules, just short of dousing it in diesel it will resist most 30foot tall visible from space beer drinking blowouts)

a winch pays for itself in winter (need lockers)

when your start to anthropomorphise your jeep into somthing above a dog and below a hooker.

when the 3 day emergency supply of food you keep in tthe damned thing gets consumed so you have gas money to get to work. (i have to say that next to mre's , those blue datrex multi purpose emergency rations are pretty tasty and also water tight)

You know you drive a YJ when: You follow three Jeeps into a mudhole and- the built CJ on 37s, 4.7 stroker has to winch itself out. -the 360 powered CJ on 33s has to winch its way out. -theTJ on 33s, open on both ends has to winch its way out. -my old '89 YJ 4banger on wore down 33" BFG MTs slowly, but surely gnaws its way thru the mud and slime to come out in a spray of mud and water that has everybody running for cover. I love my YJ!! (Still have mud on the inside of the windshield...)

When your 3 rugrats are so excited about the first ride of the year topless to the local state parks....you would think I was taking them to Disney Land!

You know you drive a YJ when the full doors are actually 2 pieces at the window line.
When every jacket has a hole from the door latch and only the valve cover is clean
