when you drive another car, you catch yourself returning the left turn signal after every left turn.

When your gf asks you... "Is the engine going to blow up?" You look at her, and she says "I thought you said it wasn't supposed to go passed that red line" And you reply with "Nah baby, its ok if it does it... She just recently decided to leak coolant every now and then..." "I just gota put some water in it ever so often"

After that she looked at me and said this thing better not die... I love the her!

I think my heart dropped when she said that lol

A one hour job when you are replacing (snapped) rear leafs turns into a four hour job because every las godforsaken bolt is seized so you either hacksaw it off or mushroom it and need to recut the threads...which leads me to my next point:

The only reason your autoshop teacher let you do it in the shop with the lift is because you drive a jeep

when you really have to wonder if you spend more time fixing or driving

...WAIT...CHANGE THAT...

when there is no debate...you DEFINITELY spend more time fixing on it than driving it.

You have a working parking brake on your YJ? That sounds like some fancy-smancy yuppie option. Mine came with the option to leave it in gear with the engine off or park it with a tire against something, lol.

You know you drive a YJ when you are driving in other standard transmission vehicles and you instincitivly leave it in gear instead of setting the parking brake, because the parking brake on your YJ doesn't work.

When you stop to help the TJ on the side of I-80, find out he's out of gas, and take some sick pleasure in finding out that his gas gauge is worthless too
