While sitting in traffic you see boulders on the side of the road as part of the landscaping. You look over to your friend in the passenger seat and say "how much you want to bet I can crawl over that?"

No stereo, no hardtop, no cupholders, no backseat, no A/C, no I6, no floormats, no full doors, no real wheels (hubcaps), no ANYTHING! This thing is seriously the epitome of a Base Model Jeep. . . And I wouldn't trade it for anything!

That would be the Wrangler S. Its a wonderful thing isn't it?

Yes, yes it is! lol

You know you drive a YJ when you are the guy all your friends call for help working on their vehicles, not because you work on vehicles for a living (I don't), but because of all the times they called or stopped by while you were wrenching on the Jeep. lol

..... when your kids want you to drive THROUGH all the planters in the parking lot at the shopping center, (and you do hit a couple with no plants to make them happy)

They still play the Jeep spotting game, but now they've modified the rules:
If you call "JEEP!" and it has round headlights, you deduct a point. If it has four doors, you deduct two. If it's a RED YJ, you get an extra point.

Betcha' wish your girlfriend was as dirty as my Jeep!

Hang on! This is gunna' be a thrill ride of geriatric proportion!

when your yj buddy with a hard top unlocks his tailgait and wonder why you don't have a lock on yours only to realize you do and only to realize again that it serves no purpose whatsoever with your soft top

when your center console makes a better cup holder than the cup holders

when you make a cooler out of said center console and a wind breaker

... when you're the reason your college put up "No Parking on Unpaved Areas" signs.

... when you're the only person who would ever ask Campus Security if you could park under this: . (They said "no" and kept a close eye on me.. it was my last day so I never got a chance to do it anyway...)

Driving through them is a lot of fun too, even though the school doesn't look too kindly on it because it makes a mess
