Fresh grease and oil it handles easily. But that stuff I find on the underside of my jeep that was once grease and oil sometime back in the 80s and can now only be described by the phrase "if we could make this stuff in bulk we'd put asphalt companies out of business"....only pumice, steel wool, or the pressure washer will take care of that.

You know you drive a YJ when.... you don't need to drive it, you are just happy you own it.

I don't lick it daily like others do, but I do like to touch it daily.

Betcha' wish your girlfriend was as dirty as my Jeep!
Zombies hate fast food.
Hang on! This is gunna' be a thrill ride of geriatric proportion!

[QUOTE=Ringwood;5892198]Hey man your floors are going to fall out (if they haven't already) because the carpeting sucks up water like a sponge. Just keep an eye on that and make sure to dry it out.

Yeah Im carefull about that. I vacuum under carpet also amd when rain the stops i let it air out. Saw a post that says its comign from the drain hose under the top grill. Will be fixed directly.

The person who had it b 4 me took very good care of it. There is little to no rust in floor boards. Stole it for 4k with 83k on the clock from the person who bought it new.

your professor catches you in your welding booth in class on your cell phone ordering parts, at least once a week too, and laughs (and its a strict policy too haha)

You see a part you need on Craigs List thats only an hour away from your house. You end up getting lost and the trip turns into a 3 hour round trip. You dont mind because its for the YJ.

You spend all your spare time reading the YJ Technical Forum looking for ways to keep your ride on the road.
