Yj won't start

I've got a 1994 yj 4.0 and this morning it would not start. The engine would just crank over and over. I've had this problem before and discovered it was my throttle positioning sensor. So that's been recently replaced. After I had tryed to start the engine a couple of times I went under the hood and checked all my connections such as plug wires the plugs going to my intake and any other plugs that looked important. After that I went to crank it over and it caught and started running. Although to me it sounded like it was running just a little bit rough. I then turned it off and tryed to start it again to make sure it was fixed and it just cranked and cranked over again. Anyone have any ideas?

A buddy just had that exact thing happen with his and it was his ecu.code showed the tps but a shop checked it and the ECM burnt out. Not saying that's what happened with yours but somewhere to start.

Check your fault codes. You can do it by cycling the key. On my cell so I can't post a link but you can find how by searching the forum. Also crank position sensor. Check to see if you are losing fuel or spark.

While I was checking for spark it finally caught and started running. Although right before it started I heard the fuel pump turn on. And I'm not sure I was hearing that before. Although I did check the fuel rail before it finally started running again and there was defiantly fuel in it..

It's good to have Que back in the line up.
