yj windshield question

I have a 1992 yj and want to install a roof rack that mounts in front on the windshield. Three of the frour windshield mounting screws came out OK nut the fourth just spins. Either way, not tighter, no looser. Any suggestions how to resolve?

your only option may be drilling off the head of the screw, being careful not to damage the hinge. What about getting it so the one spinning was the last one and push the windshield away from the hinge and see if the pressure will help the threads to catch and come out.......? Just a thought. If that won't work, maybe the drilling.....Good luck!

Before drilling anything try prying it out with a screwdriver and then retapping the hole. Who knows, it might work.
