YJ vs Grand Cherokee

Will the engine wiring harness from a 95 or so Grand Cherokee 4.0 fit a 95 yj with the 4.0 5spd?

I'm not 100% sure so I don't want to mess you up with misinformation. My YJ has an XJ motor and trans and ended up needing a Painless harness to make it all work together. If no one on here has the answer follow this link and call these guys tomorrow.
SKINNY PEDAL
Ask for Josh. He's the shop owner and quite the Jeep guru. He did the swap in my YJ for the previous owner. I've talked to him quite a few times and he's a great guy. I'm sure he can quickly answer your question and then some.

Hope that helps.
Cheers

Or so is a little vague. 95 and older fuel injection should be fine. The computer location, I believe is in a different location which means it may not be plug and play. Also wire colors are different so you'll want the diagram for the harness year if you decide to do any work.

Yes it will work. Wire colors are the same but the wire lengths may be different because of computer location as stated above. If you search there is a site that has full FSM for both jeeps complete with diagrams.

I was referring to the "or so" for wire color differences. 95 to 95 is the same but if your doing say 93 to 95 the wire colors could be different. I found this out when I used a 91 harness with a 95 diagram on a YJ.
