Didnt you say your buddy worked at autozone though? that could have had something to do with it
and damn, thats alot of carnage! must have been a fun day

Maybe I'll just tell them it locked up on me and the dents are courtesy of my BFH trying to unstick them. Brilliant!

Nope, not anymore and not when I returned the shocks. Yeah it was definitely an interesting day to say the least.

The u joint isn't a big deal. Did you end up bending a leaf with that inverted shackle? How did you break the case? Drive shaft too long and pogo stick the case? Tail shaft break? Bad mount?

Yes, both leaf springs were bent to a 90* angle. The front axle was pushed back about 12", shoving the front drive shaft through the transfer case. Transfer case was broken into quite a few pieces.

I bought the ones listed on the first page for my front shocks on my 2.5" lift. Rides a lot nicer then fully extended stock shocks. Rides very nice

Hey man, I know this thread is a little older but I just stumbled onto it. I have an RC 4" lift and I got their 1.5" boom shackles to go with. Which shocks would you go with to get the flex you have in the newer pictures? My shocks are limiting my flex in a bad way

That's a lot of lift. The shocks listed are good for max 4" lift. Any more you probably need to move the axle mounted shock mounts.

I might be mistaken on the Shackles. I got them from RC(Which I hate) and they look to be about the same size as the ones on yours. so maybe I will try it out. $85 dollars isn't bad. Thanks for the info man. Good stuff. What kind of front fenders are those?

Cost me like 80$ total. I used a 100$ Harbor freight bender.
