It's not high on my list of things to remember, but I think it's 5.5" stock YJ and 6.25" for the Grand pitman. I know that it was worth the minor headaches to swap it.

I used a J20 box. Direct bolt on. Uses all four bolts. Yes you do lose some of the turn raduis. I bought mine from a place that rebuilds them. Paid 150.00.

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out when I'm at the JY. It may help recover some of my turning radius. I'm a TJ arm now and I think it's 5.5" with a 2" drop.

I got a new Chero pitman from Rock Auto for $18 and change.

I'm off to the JY! I did some research and found the WJ arm is 6.5" long with 2" drop.

They are about $12 there, of course I'll have to rent a pitman arm puller but I'd have to anyway to remove my current one. I would order it off RockAuto but shipping is $13 on top of the $19 and the Pull-a-part is only 10 minutes away.

Thanks for the help Don!
