My '92 YJ will not start. Just before this issue, the 'Check Engine' light was on and off. Driving it home one night, stopped to get food, hasn't started since. Had it towed into work. Changed the battery, starter and alternator, even checked the battery cables, no dice. Tried to start it again, Ignition fuse (the 40amp in the main fuse block next to the battery) instantly blew out. swapped it out, blew out again. Any ideas?

FYI, it will not even crank. Acts like there is no battery.

The fuse you speak of must be F4 (40amp) in the PDC. This supplies power to the starter via the start relay. If this fuse is blown yet again, then try removing the starter relay and see if it pops again. If not, then reinstall the relay and then remove the grn/wht wire from the starter and see what happens. You have a short circuit here, just trying to isolate it.
