YJ Soft Top Frame (89)

Are there more than one frame setups for the YJ ? My son was givien a soft top with side windows, frame. We tried to install the top on to the frame, the frame seem awfully big for the top. Is there a model or part # for these frames and which one do we need to install the top ? Thanks in advance for your help.

there is more than one...is the top/frame that you were given OEM or aftermarket?

here is some info so you can see what a factory soft top frame and a couple of Bestops looks like

If the top has snaps, it is an OEM replacement. BesTop uses velco.
