Yj small block rams horn manifold flange?

Im having to change my true duel exhaust to cross over under the oil pan. Im doing it myself so I can route it where I want and have mandril bends. I bought a set of old Corvette Rams horn 2.5" center dumps. The manifolds came with an exhaust donut. So for you guys that used rams horn manifolds on your SBC swap. What type of pipe flange do you use on the manifold?

Is it normal like this

Ball and socket like this?

Or something else?

The rams horn are from the older engines so I bet it uses the regular style. I bought a set of those for my 79 GMC step side with stock 350, back in the day. I never put them on though

I think I found the answer: Corvette Flat Exhaust Pipe Flange (1962-74). According to the vendor this should work so I ordered 2.

Don't you need the pipe sleeve for the flanges? I am installing a 330hp crate engine with those ram horns. I am not as concerned with perfectly smooth bends so I am looking at making y -pipe work. Just trying to find one with 2 1/2 inlets and 3" outlets. Good luck!

I asked about the pipe sleeve. He said that i could just slide the sleeve down the pipe a little farther and use the pipe as the sleeve. We will see if that holds true if not then it will be these.

Let us know how it works. I am not really sure how it will tighten if the flange slips over the pipe? Unless the pipes you are using already have a "lip" for the donut/flange.

The ID of the donut is 2.524, so that it will slip over the pipe. The flange I ordered has a bevel that should fit the donut. The flange will be welded to the pipe. See what I'm saying?
