YJ Slipping

Hi all, I have a 93 YJ 2.5 with around 81,000 miles on the clock. It has a real bizarre problem and I'm starting to get very concerned. When I pull off from a standing start, it sometimes sounds like I am driving over several small bumps. At first i thought it was maybe the clutch slipping but it will continue in 2nd and 3rd with the clutch in or out. Only seems to happen after I have been crusing for a while on the motorway....(Freeway ).

Thanks in advance guys

is it a heavy vibration kind of feeling? Check your u-joints , they may be ready to blow. Happend to me while driving and it wasn't fun.

Also check your motor mounts as well as the transmission mount. When those heavy things aren't tied down properly and start bouncing around, they shure let you know it!
