YJ shake, Need to make a smoother ride.

My wife bought me my YJ. I have never seen it or drivin it. She states that it is hard to control, Shakes, makes the CD player skip alot. What would you think about replacing? I have new tires, new shocks to go on when i get home. Would ball joints be a good thing to replace too? any ideas or suggestions would be great. She says she will never drive it again cause it is to tall and to much for her to drive which is a huge plus for me lol.

ball joints, steering stabilizers, check the u-joints in the drive shafts.

I would personally want to see it before I started throwing parts at it. You need to make shure that whatever is installed is installed properly and not loose. YES, bad tires could cause this.

Ya, my TJ did a crazy wobble and new tires fixed it. Also some times bad brakes.

well I wanted a good base YJ to start with. and seems I got one with the exception of the wobble. my total plan in the next yr is to replace the entire lift kit and all parts involved with it. so i started with the basics. and working from there.
