I thought the Rusty's kit only had a Drag Link length issue if you do a TieRod Flip.

Now that your tie rod is bent, just redo your Toe/alignment and you should be all good, its bent out of the way

RR would not cover bent tie-rod under warranty. My buddy convinced them to sell him a new tie-rod by itself (usually only come in a kit) for $70 shipped.

With BDS 2" springs and 5/8" Booms and no flip or drop pitman arm the drag link was over 1" too long to work in my YJ. I had it shortened down 1" at a local machine shop and cut some deeper threads and could still not get the steering wheel perfectly straight.

I now replaced the 2" springs with some 3 1/2" ones (also BDS) and just did a tie rod flip and installed a Rancho RS7407 Steering Stablizer and it was a b!tch to get that thing to work with the HD steering kit. That Stabilizer is also a bit longer than the BDS one I took off. I think I might be able to get the wheel straight now that I have the bigger lift in. I'll post an update if I'm able to get this config straight.
