Yj has no power wont boost

Hey guys I was driving my jeep and let it sit for about an hour while at a meeting and came back and the jeep has no power to it and won't boost off anything. Ideas?

remove the battery cables and clean them first. Then do you have lights horn etc? If you do try starting it.

If your connections are good then you may have a dead battery.Your charging system may be faulty thus leaving you open to parasitic draw complications. You may have been losing battery for some time and just now headed over the cliff.Test your alternator-you might be able to get a jump to get home.

Can't jump. ...Woody Harrelson, Wesley Snipes.....

Honestly, I can't imagine why a vehicle would run fine, then suddenly won't do anything after being shut off for an hour. Doesn't make sense. Pull the cover off the PDC in front of the battery, check all the big monster fuses in there. Can you test for voltage across your battery, see if it has ANY juice to it? Hope you're not freezing out there in the parking lot. Seems pretty nippy where I am even, brrrrrr.

So you got it started? You're back in action? I'd give the Jeep an under the hood electrical clean-up if that's the case. Can't tell what else was a bad connection as well that is waiting to leave you stranded in the Great White North where frostbite rules. Things like the lines to your alternator, engine/battery ground points, terminal connectors, sometimes you even have to replace your main power/ground lines even though they look good on the outside. Clean all connectors to bright and shiney with sandpaper, put a dab of dielectric grease on them and tighten them back up. Don't forget terminals on the starter as well. First thing to do before going into all of this is to disconnect the battery........

And it was cold here as well last nite, musta got down into the upper 60's/low 70's. Brrrrrr. I had snotsicles hanging so had to even close a window. Couldn't find my sock cap though.
