YJ Hardtop Window Rubber

Does anybody know how to keep the window rubbers on the side glass of the hardtop from falling out?

umm.. well if they're already falling out, here's what i'd do, go ahead and pull them all the way out, clean the groove with alcohol or some other solvent to get the road grime and grit out, (make sure the glass doesnt fall out) then put a small bit of silicone sealant on the rubber trim piece and refit it back into the groove. When it cures, the window will also be re-sealed from water and wind noise from air leaks should go down as well.

I had the same problem. I went to a glass shop and got about 15 feet of that rubber weatherstripping, pulled out the old stuff, and got some silicone sealant and filled the gap b/w the window and top, and inserted the new seal. Good as new now!

There's supposed to be seals in there???

When I bought my YJ there were no seals in the hardtop windows. I'm actually suprised that they haven't fallen out or leaked. I'm sure its just a matter of time though
