YJ Half Cab Top - Rampage INC

I looked at the Bestop version, but it was $500. This Rampage Top was $170 including shipping at JC Whitney (Free Shipping Special) and I actually like the larger rear window this one has vs the Bestop version. I also like the little cargo access hatch that zips open & closed. Install was easy, it worked with my factory hardware and came with the tonneau.

Door Uppers should be here Tuesday and then I should be set for the winter.

It's still pretty wrinkled from the shipping but I haven't seen pics of this top anywhere else so I thought I'd share

More pics of the top here in the "Exterior" section near the bottom:

I looked at them.

Something to consider:

1. You must have existing OEM soft top hardware. If you have a supertop or other aftermarket hardware...this won't work.

I have a bestop supertop.....rampage top won't work for me.

Looks good on yours tho.

Yes. You have to have the factory soft top frame (or a replacement) because this requires the squared off door uppers.

I had nothing when I started so I had to get a new frame and uppers anyway. I actually got the slider uppers so mine were a little more at $275, but again you can probaby get some normal ones off ebay for about $150 and a frame for $100.

I'll post up another pic when all is said & done.

Thats the set up I have been looking for. What brand upper doors did you go with? Did you have to buy the upper frames, or were you able to find just the skins?-I cant find the skins alone.

I got some used bestop uppers with sliding windows off craigslist or ebay.

It's been a few years so I don't recall exactly.

How was the noise? Any worse than the full size top? JC Whitney currently has that top for $179 with free shipping.

I have the same top. Works great, looks good, and good price. Its "almost" like being in a single cab truck.

Wow thats awesome. Can you elect to use just the top over the driver/passenger...as a "bikini top" basically? Or do you need to put the back window part on if the top is on?

Any chance it'd work with the sport roll bar too?

You can unzip the back window and take it out, there are straps that hold the top in place. The tonneau and cab are seperate and the tonneau can be removed. It is a pain to get one but not to bad to get off...i haven't put it on since I took it off so I don't know how hard it will be to get back on now that it has stretched.
