YJ Gun Racks

So, for a quick weekend project, I was thinking of fabing up a gun rack for my YJ.

Does anyone have pictures of their racks? Looking for ideas.

"A gun rack? I don't even own A gun, much less enough to necessitate an entire rack! What am I going to do, with a gun rack?"

I usually have a rifle and shotgun with me when I deer hunt. So a rack is what I need. The pic of the spring loaded holder in the linked thread looks like it may work, but I'll just have to modify it for two long guns.

I dont have a picture but my neighbor has a rifle scabbard (for a saddle) mounted to the roll cage behind his seat so the butt is about even with your shoulder pointing up. It looks real nice with the top off but could be a pain in the but with the top on.
some military vehicles have the spring loaded type holders by the doors but I always found them to be in the way of getting in and out.

Have you considered using ATV style gun racks and cases?

So what do you do if you run across a rattle snake or a pack of Coyote's?

No joke. I would like something to securely hold my guns when I go hunting. We can own guns here you know. In fact, I am in the process of building an EBR.
