I'm not much of a winter weather person but maybe ssyj94 will drive out for a trip or find someone else to tow him. Or spring definitely!

These should hold up much better. The Maxxis tires are extremely durable in my experience.

Thanks!

I've only had them out once but they seem to work awesome in the woods far better than the km2s. The only issue I'm having now is I havent had time to try to balance them for highway driving. The creepies shake pretty bad at 60mph but arent loud at all and overall feel ok at speed. They are some heavy SOB's and you can feel it on the street compared to normal 35's. The other thing is the sideawll s are super stiff and strong I was running 8psi in them and they flexed like bfg's with 25psi. I found they started working at 5-6psi. If they can balance reasonibly I dont see anything wrong with them as a sometime on the street tire.

I'm interested in doing this to my yj. How much did you spend on all the suspension together and if you could list the supplies and where to get them would be sweet

I honestly dont know. My total price would be way different then someone having it installed or who bought brackets from mainstream vendors. I got all the brackets, tabs, shock hoops and DOM from a local friend/shop. We also installed the entire setup in my buddies garage/driveway. Your best bet would be to shop around barnes4wd, ruffstuff and poly to get an idea of what its going to cost. Once you have an idea of what exactly you'll need shop around the pirate vendors/classifieds for deals.

I appreciate it and yeah I'm 18 and going to community college. Needless to say I'd be doing all the work in my barn with my father

I liked the first video of you ramming it up the hill. Who knew Clint Eastwood directed that clip. ( audio at :58) Simply awesome.

Drove out to rausch creek for the RCQ and to wheel a couple weeks ago. Despite some fuel related issues(old pump) the jeep did pretty well and drove home without any major issues. The tires aired down to 6psi were amazing on the rocks, mud and concrete. I did manage to bend my tie rod driving like a bulldozer.

Heres a gopro video of the trail 5 hillclimb

the bent solid 1 3/4" tie rod
