YJ Gauge Cluster

The needle is broken in my voltmeter and Im getting kind of sick of looking at a dead gauge. What years was the gauge pack (4wd/gas/temp/oil/volt) the same, so I can find one to replace it? Thanks for the help.

It was the same for 87 thru 95, but they changed sometimes depending on the options. Like an "Islander" is different from a "renegade" is different from the "sahara" or a base-model YJ. For example mine has the clock instead of the 4WD light. All gauges fit into the cluster regardless what options the jeep had. I think they all had the volt gauge, so You could get one off anything and put it in your cluster, and it should work.

I want to say 1991-1995, but not 100% on that though.

That was a really good question. Looks like I was close. Appears to be 1992-1995. This is a good discussion on this in this thread.

Thanks for all the info. A junkyard near me is selling me the gauge pack for $20. If they arent the same gauges now I know I can at least swap out the volt gauge from it.

Bernie- If it doesnt look like its in good condition when I go to pick it up I will shoot you a PM. Thanks for the offer.

What year is your YJ? I changed all my gauges out so I have a cluster. It came out of my '87. The PO painted the inside trim blue. If you want it PM me.

If you are not afraid to hack up the backing plate you can fit an aftermarket 2" gauge in any position. I replaced my center clock with an autometer transmission gauge.

Bringing this back to life. Thanks to bernie for hooking me up with a voltmeter, but it was for the previous version of the gauges. If anyone out there has a 92-95 voltmeter for sale I would be very grateful. Thanks a lot
