YJ Full Hard Doors

I have a '92 YJ, and the full hard doors I have don't quite line up with the frame and hardtop. The hinges line up just fine, but there is a fairly large gap at the top of both doors, and they rattle and bang around pretty badly. The passenger side door doesn't even really close the whole way and the rubber door seal sticks out along the edge. I know it's not the hinges on the frame of the Jeep because the half doors fit fine with the softtop on. I heard somewhere that CJ doors almost fit YJs...could this be the problem?

the cj doors will fit just fine if they are aligned properly. you most likely need to loosen the bolts on the door and align it properly then retighten the bolts
Keep on Jeepin

Just loosen the torx screws on the door side of the hinge and adjust them. If you don't want them though I'll drive up and pick them up. Seriously though, the doors can be adjusted to get rid of the gap and the striker can be adjusted to seal the door tight to the body. I had a gap I could see thru on my stock full doors, after adjustment....none.
