looks good.. but check to make sure your gauge cluster doesn't stick out to far. mine is on the limit if you have a tall person sit in the front seat there knees get really close to it..

Dre-
i did the 4.3 swap and currently doing a custom dash with autometer gauges. what did you do about wiring the gauges in there? did you end up running all new wires and ripping out the old stuff?

what I did was I pulled apart the gauge cluster and where the printed ribbon solders to the connector I removed it and soldered wires directly to the original connector so all I have to do is plug in the new gauge cluster and screw in place.

Please do yourself a favor and round off any of the corners. This more for anyone else that might think of doing this. Square corners are dangerous for you passenger and yourself.

A 89 yj with a 4.0 aw4 sye out of an 92xj. Now the hard part is done time to get it up in the air just a bit. Working on 8.8 with 3.73 and lsd for the rear. and new D30 hp with 3.73 .
For those who have not figured this out I'm old school but can handle the new too.

I like that idea. Good work. Also just gave me something else to do to my jeep in the future. Looks good.
