YJ coilover buildup

Well the title says it, I decided im gonna ditch the front leaf springs and go for a 3 link with coilovers. The rear is going to be stretched with xj leafs. I plan on going for about a 102 wheelbase.

Here's my jeep when i first got it 10 yrs ago

And this is how it sits now minus the nerf bars

Here's a list of parts i have

Waggy 44
Poly Performance 3 link kit
Fox 2.0 remote reservoir coilovers 12"
BTF rear stretch bumper
xj leaf springs
f 8.8
super 88 kit
yukon 4.88 front/rear

Here's what im still trying to aquire

antirock swaybar
arb lockers front rear
superior shafts for 44
ctm u-joints
atlas 4 sp t-case
wheels/ tires going 35's for now

I know everyone is thinking i should probably not spend money on the d44 and just go for 60's. personally i don't like the way they look too wide in my opinion. And i dont really want to be bothered by the cops here in Ca for not having mudflaps.

My waggy 44 with dedenbear or reid knuckles, i also have steering arms from ballistic fab i'll try and post more pics when i find my camera. If anyone has 3-linked the front of their rig feel free to post up some pics to help me out also any comments or suggestions would be great.

I've got a buddy who lives over in Paso, (you may know him) and he's running a D60 rear/ D44 front on 37's on his TJ with zero probs. The front has never been an issue for him. I think you'll be fine. And btw... me jealous big time. Would love to coil my junk. Should be a nice project. I'm still leafs, so can't really help much, but good luck and keep the pics coming.

Good luck man, I wish I had the ability/money/time to do this. Do you have any time frame of when you would like to be done?

I had a friend who i got this axle from and i didnt feel like looking for an hp 44. The junkyards out here are too expensive they usually want at least 8 to 900 for a d44

I'm hoping too be done by the end of oct the only thing holding me back is not having all the parts yet and lack of money. Once i get the rest of the parts it wont take long to install. I'll get more pics up on thursday if i get off work.

you are going to love the coilovers. i am runnig them and have been really happy with the result.
i have a pair of brand new 12" bilstein coilovers for sale if you are interested in them for the rear.
the spring rate that works for me is 250/350.
have fun with the build up
