YJ Clutch Help Please

I have a 93 yj. About 95% of the time when I drive, it shifts perfect. The other times what happens is when I come to a stop light and put it in neutral, when I try to put in back in 1st (or any gear), it won't go. I have to wiggle and force it until it finally goes in gear. If I roll to the stop light, I can put it in any gear as I am about two mph. Any suggestions? Thx

Sounds to me like the synchronizers are going out. Try draining and refilling the 10w-30 in your trans and look for any evidence of metal shards in the old oil. Refill not to waste oil, but to see if there is any improvement after you do it.

Check the fluid level in you clutch master cylinder. I'll bet you find it's low.

So I checked the fluid. It was 2/3 full. I don't think that should cause this? Any other ideas?
