My jeep had an islander hood on it when I bought it. It must be at least a $1000 hood.

Well...
I am buying a truck. A Ford Ranger 4x4, '04.
A friend is selling it CHEAP.
He bought a new car(a Subaru forester) and was offered almost nothing for the truck as a trade-in and so he kept it to sell private. I benefit. Complete service history. Right at 100,000 miles, new tires and a couple year old clutch. The 4by works and the front end is sound. I think thats all the issue boxes checked.
2 grand.
Couldn't pass it up...

I have been using the YJ as a daily driver, and have been really unable to wheel it in fear of breakage and then no going to work car.
This pick-up will daily drive for a while and allow me to use the jeep in a manner more fun. Plus there are 2 mods and 1 repair it needs (I have the mods sitting here a skid plate and new fenders and I really need to address the slop in the steering) but again what if it ain't ready for work???

So it will be good for the Jeep.

Not really about YJs but I think I can post this here.

It's been a rough week...
Sunday morning my Pastor of my church lost his battle with cancer at the age of 51.
This morning my girlfriends Grandma passed as well
And I was informed this afternoon that the guy who I bought my YJ from, a family friend, was killed in a car accident.

This week has been a tough one to say the very least.
