The bumper is actually set on there to run over trees it folds them over perfectly. The axe is to chop off the ones I get stuck on

Cool YJ man. One of my dreams is to live in Alaska. But I have to ask. How many days a year can you take the top off? Seriously though, it looks beautiful up there.

Not much motion in the ocean, but I'm the captain.

Thanks for the pics! I always like to see purpose built rigs. I have a great friend who runs a lodge and fishing/hunting guide service up there in Kenai. I have a standing invitation to spend some time there, but haven't been able to make it yet. It looks beautiful there!

I just PB Blastered the crap out of mine and were able to break most of the nuts free (so I don't think I'll have to cut any of them out) but I'm wondering how much thicker the 36r's are than stock springs?

Here's a few pics of my U-bolts
FRONT

REAR

Wow the bolts look much more "worn" in the pics than when I was laying under them...
I especially don't want to drop the $40.00 on the rears since I'll be going with an 8.8 soon. Looks like I have enough threads in the rears, so maybe just replace the fronts?

Cheers

EDIT: Oh and the only other thing I'm not sure about, so somebody that has gone with the 36r's before may be able to help, and I PM'd Anticanman, but he wasn't sure either, is how many bushing to order. I called and PM'd Qtec and they said they would get back to me. Here's what I'm looking at
OME BUSHINGS
The description is vague as to what that covers. If I'm reading it right, it is 6 bushings, or enough for three eyes, or one COMPLETE spring? I.e. 1 for the frame side mount, one for the lower shackle mount, and one for the top of the shackle. Is that correct? So I'll need 4 packs of those and that will cover all the bushings I need? Two for each shackle and one for each frame mount?

Dammit one more thing lol.
Do the stock sway bar connections work with the 36r's?

Thhhaaaannnnnks!
Cheers!

So missed this sorry. On the front the stock u bolts aren't long enough unless you remove the wedge from the spring pack. I just bought new bolts. The rear are long enough though. I bought those exact bushings. One pack does the main eye of the spring, shackle eye of the spring, and shackle to frame. Doesn't come with any hardware except one sleeve. So 4 packs to do the whole jeep. The sway bar fits on the driver side I know. The passenger side popped off the bushing and I can't get it back on yet. Hope this helps and aligning the tab of the springs to the axel can be a big pain in the ***. Good luck and hope you don't have the little set backs I did so far.

Hey thanks so much! I went ahead and ordered 4 packs and all new u-bolts and just crossed my fingers that it was all right lol. What problems did your run into besides the sway bar popping off and having a hard time aligning the axle?

I'm looking forward to brown santa showing up so I can get started.

Just got my BERSK shackles in the mail. Those things are BEEFY. Only took two days for them to arrive as well. If anyone is looking for booms, I HIGHLY recommend you pm BERSK. He was awesome to deal with and the product is excellent.

Cheers
