Its easy. I used cardboard and pencils. Its just a 4pt diamond to hold your shifter knob, in my case a golfball. No measuring. I just laid the ball on the cardboard, took all four pencils and poked em through the board around the ball.

Will a Tj front bumper bolt to a Yj?

X2 the tj bolts are closer together

Dang. I found a ps BFH bumper with stinger $250 for a Tj. I really like the look an the one piece design. New their like 375$ w/o shipping. If its just plug welding and redrilling some holes I'd call it a deal.

i believe the frame rails are the same distance apart so it wouldnt be hard to work with, it just wont bolt on

The front bolts should actually line up, but the back bolts will need to be redrilled. That was the case when I gave my dad my tow bumper on his 06 lj
