I got a question for those of you running OME 36r's all around. I working on piecing together my lift (and trying to save a buck here or there), were any of you able to reuse your u-bolts? I just PB Blastered the crap out of mine and were able to break most of the nuts free (so I don't think I'll have to cut any of them out) but I'm wondering how much thicker the 36r's are than stock springs?
Here's a few pics of my U-bolts
FRONT
REAR
Wow the bolts look much more "worn" in the pics than when I was laying under them...
I especially don't want to drop the $40.00 on the rears since I'll be going with an 8.8 soon. Looks like I have enough threads in the rears, so maybe just replace the fronts?
Cheers
EDIT: Oh and the only other thing I'm not sure about, so somebody that has gone with the 36r's before may be able to help, and I PM'd Anticanman, but he wasn't sure either, is how many bushing to order. I called and PM'd Qtec and they said they would get back to me. Here's what I'm looking at
OME BUSHINGS
The description is vague as to what that covers. If I'm reading it right, it is 6 bushings, or enough for three eyes, or one COMPLETE spring? I.e. 1 for the frame side mount, one for the lower shackle mount, and one for the top of the shackle. Is that correct? So I'll need 4 packs of those and that will cover all the bushings I need? Two for each shackle and one for each frame mount?
Dammit one more thing lol.
Do the stock sway bar connections work with the 36r's?
Thhhaaaannnnnks!
Cheers!
