nice! (for the vw) The jeep... have you tried roll starting? that's the fun way to figure out if your starter is toast

The jeep.... The starter, ignition coil, ignition switch, ignition control module, all been replaced within the last few months. It just doesn't like me anymore. Ended up being a wire with an inline fuse that burned the coating off the wire and heated to a point that the strands of copper fused together. I've been fighting electrical problems all summer. Anyone know how easy it'll be to swap to fuel injection, and the whole engine and cab harnesses with the newer gauges? I've read alot about the swap, but I don't recall anyone swapping both harnesses and gauges

NPR reported that McDonald's was not behind the Burger King hacking.

You'll know when you install a 8.8. Shocks are tough to mount if you want to have any travel in them.

They're plentiful all across the country. There's always the Mercury Mountaineer to snag an axle from as well. Drum doesn't matter because it can be swapped out later for disc. Gears and 31 spline axles along with the explorer width and bolt pattern are what makes this desirable.

I'm just waiting for someone to post up a bolt in ready 8.8 with 4.56s in it on Craigslist for around $200 and I'll be there in a heartbeat!

im noticing Explorers are in every JY ive been to. dirt cheap. definitely do your research on the axle codes before you go, but first thing i looked for was disc breaks(later model explorers) and the ones with the LSD in it had a tag for synthetic oil only on it! but i didnt do my homework on the axle codes for the confirmation of gears and LSD before i went there, just scouting yards before the hunt
