I just got doorbell ditched and they left me beer (leinenkugel oktoberfest) and candy.

Oh and I was working on my jeep when this happened.

Hello all... My name is Marty, I figured I would introduce myself for my first post...I've been a Mobile electronics installer/fabricator for 15 years so I might be of some help here in trade for all of your jeep knowledge...
I just bought my first wrangler (have always wanted one) 1988 wrangler with 60k on the clock... for $1500... guy wanted $3000 but was dumb enough to let me know he needed to make a mortgage payment... It needs some tlc from sitting but it's a prety solid rig..

Clean looking YJ man! Sounds like you snagged a good deal. He probably shouldn't have said anything about his mortgage payment...

Thanks there is very little rust... the paint sucks... I'm planning on geting rid of all chrome parts...doing a matte black wrap on it..(I know it probably won't hold up too well if i take it on a trail but I plan on making it some what car show worthy so i can advertise for my shop) ... If it gets scratched up I just peel and re apply that section...tossing a new set of bumpers and bushwacker flat flares on and doing up the interior... also the top seems to have shrunk a lil bit... the back window doesn't zip all the way down..

Kind of on topic: do you have any pictures of the vehicles' electronics installed? Any big plans for new fabrication ideas for the jeep?
