I'm nowhere near doing a swap right now. Just don't have the time to invest. It will have to wait a couple more years until I'm done with grad school. (I went back for more torture... ) I had intended to keep the 5.3 out of my '00 Silverado I just sold, but everyone convinced me to sell the truck because I am meticulous about maintaining my vehicles and it was in great shape. Again, no time for the swap also. I'm always just rolling ideas around in my head about the YJ & the swap seems to always be there. It will happen, just later. Experience tells me the 5.3 is VERY solid, no experience with the 4.6. I've also never heard anything bad about Golen's stroker. Thanks for the input though!

Yup, there are so many dead Chevys out there with decent motors that there is no reason to pull a motor from a live one.

We were discussing our Jeeps being too tall last night and then this video helped to reinforce our thoughts

Wave as you pass me :D

The problems of owning 2 Jeeps ... I never know which one to work on or which YJ gets the next mod ...

I was thinking the same. SOA with RE 1.5" springs somehow seems a lot taller than I need. I'd go with flat springs, but I just got a new set of rear RE's last June.

I'll be the first to say that the jeep is usually never the safest place. At least with mine.

Lou

I have a jeep...and it is modified...I win.

Yeah, I call that one Magic Trick... It's how to make a spotter disappear in a split second.

She was nowhere to be found after.

Let me think the best way to get up the hill is to put your passenger side wheels way up high and the driver's side ones in a hole hey wait let me get the video camera ready common sense says you are asking for trouble from the start.
