Both factory installed A/C and aftermarket versions include A/C dedicated vents mounted below the standard YJ dash and have separate fan and temp controls included. These two knobs sit just below and to the right of the column.

missing a knob, but you get the idea....

Thanks Canman, taught me something. I've never seen those or come across that info. Did the A/C also vent from the same duct work as the vent and heat options?

It has the same type ducting that you posted. I don't know the origin of each type but I have seen pictures of each type installed in YJ's.

I think that is an A/C compressor I see on Passenger side of the motor compartment, Is that factory A/C?

The A/C unit is self contained at the bottom of the dash. 3 vents stretching along the bottom.. The controls are a fan control and temp. and they are 2 knobs to the left of the vents

What are your guys opinion of this concept?

I am looking to join a west coast club so that I can get windshield stickers to put on my Jeeps. Anyone of you left coasters have a club that wants to have an Orange Park FL member? Just saying it would be fun to be the only FL member and save me some headache as the people I ride with are now splitting into 2 different clubs and I don't want to be stuck in the middle of the BS as I ride for fun with anyone so your sticker would help me out of this jamb.

Wave as you pass me :D

The problems of owning 2 Jeeps ... I never know which one to work on or which YJ gets the next mod ...

That's fine, Chuck. We have a guy that's not 4x4 in the club. Consider it a misnomer.

There are no old ones. Only the members who showed up to the first meeting have the original stickers. And you have to show up to meetings to get one...
