Uh huh

I've heard decent things about the garage pro. FWIW id never buy a race/suspension seat again if you can't wear a stock seatbelt with it. I'm over my seats as a DD.

I'm switching it up to harness belts so I need a seat that will give provisions for them

Low impact, yes. I have the Baja SS seat and you're actually sitting on a cross cross length of stretchy cord. Does their aftermarket support to get those specific seats into our YJ work? Hell no.
Their adapters that allow you to bolt the sears to the current riser make it so you cannot get your legs under the steering wheel. With the seat as far forward as possible, I could barely push the clutch in far enough because I was so high.

Their seat base and sliders work okay. The adapter fit the base so tightly that I couldn't move my seat easily enough for how I wanted. And they aren't manufactured correctly. I had to fight with them to get them to fit and ended up chipping a whole section of paint off because of it.

As for seat quality, they are okay. They dont hold up firmness wise as well as stock replacements and some of the stitching has come undone. They arent bad though. Id be much happier if I could have them function as stock replacements with the use of the slider and more upright. The stock seat bases are angled to give the seats the lean while these seats have the lean built into them.

I thimk there are better options for a dd, but id buy them again for a trail rig.

I have those too and wouldnt recomend them for a dd unless youre installing a harness bar behind the seats. The corbeau ones I have are supposed to go in the stock location being a 3 point belt. It has a reel thats able to function as a stock seat belt reel or locked in for wheeling. The return spring in them isnt strong enough to pull the belt back through the seat. So you kean forward to change the radio station and bam, slack shoulder belts.

I frequent bumpy dirt roads and in the locked position, where the reel shouldnt allow any belt to come out, the bumps slowly pull out the belt. You adjust your shoulder harnesses and then you realize you csnt adjust them anymore and you have to stop to fix them. PITA.

I really have to suggest a good race style seat from a sports car. Mine are from a 94 Integra. A little mod work, like removing the Acura rails, then attaching stock rails from the YJ. Also mine are cloth, next will be from an Rsx in black leather. On top of all the pros, they are inexpensive.

love my jeep
